Stop exhuming dead bodies from graves in my kingdom, Owa Monarch warns ‘Yahoo Boys’

The Traditional ruler of Owa kingdom in Delta State, Nigeria, Obi (Dr.) Emmanuel Efeizomor 11 has raised alarm over the rampant invasion of the public cemetery at odd hours to exhume dead bodies, collecting vital organs in the process by some persons suspected to involved in fraudulent activities known as ‘Yahoo Boys’.

He disclosed this at the end of year interactive meeting with members of Owa community held at his Owa Oyibu Palace, warning that such unwholesome act be stopped forthwith.

The Royal Father announced that “a high powered investigative panel has been constituted to investigate and carry out surveillance. Anyone found culpable, no matter, how highly placed would be made to face the full weight of the law”.

He called on parents to closely monitor their children and wards against engaging in criminal activities like ‘419’ activities perpetrated by the ‘Yahoo Boys’, fast taking the community by storm.

He also called on security agents to step up efforts towards stamping out the menace of herdsmen attacks on farmers and their crops in Owa community.
