The Director -General of Delta of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency (DSCTDA), Chief Patrick Ukah, has been described as a charismatic leader and consummate administrator with the needed potentials to reposition the agency for effective service delivery.
The Councillor representing Okpanam ward 13 in Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. Barry Eziuchebuogalanya Okonkwo stated this in Okpanam while speaking with journalists.
Hon. Okonkwo who commended the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the appointment of Chief Ukah as the Director -General of DSCTDA, said that that the appointment was well deserved. He noted that Chief Ukah had contributed immensely to the PDP led administration in the State, adding that as a two time Commissioner and Secretary to the State Government (SSG) under the Government of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the DSCTDA DG gave a very good account of himself.
The Councillor said that the recognition of Ukah with such appointment was a welcome development for the people of Okpanam community, adding that they would continue to give him their support and cooperation at all times.
Hon. Okonkwo further explained that as a grassroots politician, Chief Ukah had continued to strengthen the dominance of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Okpanam and Oshimili North Local Government Area in general.
While also describing Chief Ukah as a great political leader to many of them, Hon. Okonkwo added that the DSCTDA Director-General was a shining light in the community whose efforts in the upliftment of Okpanam community was worthy of emulation.
