Delta State counsel to begin training on electronic filing Monday next week

The Delta State Ministry of Justice has scheduled a training programme on Electronic Filing (E-Filing) for the State Counsel (lawyers) attached to the ministry.

A statement from the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr. Omamuzo Erebe stated that the training would hold on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the First Floor, Professor Chike Edozien Secretariat, from 10am prompt to 3:pm prompt.

The statement listed officers to attend the training to include the Hon. Attorney -General’s chambers, the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary’s chambers, Departments, Units and Zonal Offices.

It further emphasised that the State Counsel in Attorney -General’s chambers, Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary’s chambers, Department of Civil Litigations, Office of the Public Defender, Centre for Restorative Justice and Revenue Unit are to attend.

Others to attend include Department of Appeals, Department of Public Prosecutions, Asaba Zone, Sexual Offences Unit, Issele Uku/Akwukwu-Igbo zone and Ogwuashi Uku zone.

The statement urged participants to come for the training with their laptops and Smart phones for practical training on how to file matters electronically.
