High Chief (Dr) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo has described the death of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, a former Minster of State for Education and former Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP in the 2023 general elections in Delta State as a big loss.
Tompolo who spoke through his Aide, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo on a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at Oginibu, Ughelli South local government area of Delta State said Gbagi had his good intentions in developing Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general.
“The deceased was a good man who always sought the interest of others above his interest.
He was a strict and disciplinarian but was misunderstood by a section of the society.
“He came, saw, and left quietly. Indeed, God gave and it was God that allowed him to go and rest at this time. We will surely miss him”, he stated.
Tompolo asked the family members to take solace as Gbagi lived a worthy and fulfilled life while on earth.
Responding, one of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagiās sons, Egba Gbagi who spoke on behalf of the family members, thanked Tompolo for finding time to visit the family in their trying time and promised to inform him (Tompolo) when the date of the burial ceremony is fixed.
