Kano State Gubernatorial Election Tribunal has annulled the Kano governorship election which produced Abba Kabir Yusuf as Governor.
It reported in error that the Tribunal ordered for a rerun.
Rather, the Tribunal did declare the APC candidate, Nasir Gawuna the winner after 165,663 votes were declared invalid because they were not stamped or signed and subsequently the votes were deducted from governor Yusuf’s votes.
Judgment was delivered from a hideout via Zoom.
