Scammers hijack Agbor University VC’s Facebook to dupe people seeking for jobs

THE Vice Chancellor of University of Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria, Prof Stella Chiemeke has raised alarm about the illegal activities of scammers using her name to dupe members of the public, by croning her Facebook to promote fake job opportunities.

She has therefore, issued a disclaimer to that effect, warning the public to be wary of the unwholesome activities embarked upon by these dupers.

A public notice put out on Thursday by the VC, reads:

“I have recently discovered that some individuals with malicious intent are misusing my name and images to promote fake job opportunities and solicit funds from the public, particularly on Facebook.

I want to clarify that these activities are not authorized by me and I urge the public to be cautious to avoid being deceived by these criminals.

Please do not send or accept any money from anyone impersonating me through social media.
