THE quest for the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, HRM King Dr. Obukohwo Monday Arthur Whiskey, JP (Udurhie 1) to position his fastest growing community in Nigeria to global fame has remained his glowing priority since he ascended the throne of his forefathers four years ago.
This was the assertion of Jesse Elites’ Forum Nigeria in a congratulatory message issued by the Chairman of the Forum, Mr. Innocent Obukadata Asoro and Secretary, Mr. Lucky Ejobotodo Oyibo, and sent to the royal father, on his attainment and conferment of Doctorate of Philosophy, Ph.D in Mass Communication, by the Senate of the prestigious Delta State University (DELSU) Abraka, during the weekend.
The Asaba branch of the Elites’ Forum has seen the growing developmental strides of the ancient kingdom under the watch of Udurhie 1, culminating into the excellence performance of his illustrious sons and daughters breaking new grounds in their various fields of human endeavours.
The Forum described the veteran Journalist turned royal father, as a pathfinder, bridge builder and lover of education for his subjects to continue to strive for excellence aimed at imbibing the spirit of hard work and dedication to worthy causes.
The Forum has also taken keen interest for the composition of various security outfits, reawakening of Idjerhe traditional and cultural heritage, introduction of Idjerhe Prayer Day and yearly Coronation Anniversary, geared toward the protection, projection and promotion of the community to international community.
According to the tribute, Jesse Elites are not only proud of the academic laurels and achievements of the Idjerhe monarch who attained the zenith of the Ivory Tower of his professional career, but partnering with governments at all level to position the Great Idjerhe Kingdom on the path of infrastructural and socio-economic development, as well as peaceful and harmonious co-existence among the various communities in the Idjerhe Kingdom.
