The Ashinze Charles Obiodogwu Foundation, has commenced the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwo Roundabout in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State with the paramount ruler and the Ugoani of Okpanam Kingdom, Dr. Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu , the President -General of Okpanam Youths Organisation, Comrade Dr. Lucky Okolo, popularly known as Dr Social and other well meaning from within and outside the Community in attendance.

Speaking during the ground breaking ceremony, the Ugoani of Okpanam Kingdom, HRM . Dr. Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu described the gesture as a demonstration of love for the people of Okpanam community by their illustrious son, Comr. Ashinze Charles Obiodogwu, the CEO and the Ambassador of the Foundation, Mrs. Jem Gutierreze Obiodogwu.

He said that the CEO of the Foundation, Comr. Ashinze Charles Obiodogwu had during the commencement of the 2023 new yam festival otherwise known as “Ikanze” had informed him of his desire to carry out a total rehabilitation and construction of Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu Roundabout.

He described Comr. Obiodogwu as a worthy son of Okpanam Kingdom, adding that his modest contributions to the growth and development of Okpanam community was commendable and worthy of emulation.

In their separate remarks, the President -General of Okpanam Youths Organisation (OYO), Comr. Lucky Okolo, Ogbueshi Innocent Uchibuolu and the Chairman of Amachai Youths, Comr. Emmanuel Onwudinjo Agala as well as Mr. Godwin Ofuani appreciated the Foundation for impacting positively on the people of Okpanam and humanity in general.

They encouraged other sons and daughters of the community to emulate the benevolent spirit of the Comr. Obiodogwu and prayed for God’s guidance and protection for Ashinze Charles Obiodogwu Foundation.

Earlier in her remarks, the Ambassador of Ashinze Charles Obiodogwu Foundation, Mrs. Jem Gutierreze Obiodogwu said that the event was for the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwo Square, adding that the Foundation had continued to support educational development programmes in the area.

She noted that the Foundation had also extended support to families of widows and other residents in Okpanam as well as the less privilege in the society.

The CEO of the Foundation, Comr. Ashinze Charles Obiodogwu reiterated their determination to continue to provide empowerment support to the less privilege individuals, adding that the foundation was also providing educational support to some beneficiaries in the community.

While commending the Ugoani of Okpanam for his support, Comr. Obiodogwu said that ground breaking ceremony was in fulfilment of the promise he made to the community during the new yam festival that his Foundation would singlehandedly reconstruct Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu Roundabout with mini drainage in both sides of the round the area .

He hinted that the project would be successfully delivered by March, 2024.
