Ned Nwoko leads among 14 outstanding Senators with highest number of presented Bills and Motions

WITH 25 Bills and 19 Motions moved on the floor of the 10th Nigerian Senate, Senator Ned Nwoko has topped the list of 14 outstanding Senators with highest number of Bills/Motions presented between May 2023 to May 2024.

This was made manifest from the Data analysed during the first year of their tenure. Senator Nwoko representing Delta North Senatorial District is leading followed by Senator Tahir Monguno, (APC, Borno North) who sponsored 23 Bills while Senator Barau Jibrin The Deputy Senate President presented 22 Bills and Senator Michael Bamidele came third with 17 Bills.


…. sends advance party to the new Asagba

In another development, Senator Nwoko, on Sunday, despatched an advance party to the newly crowned Asagba of Asaba, Obi Professor Epiphany Azinge (SAN) ahead of his coming homage to the palace very soon.

On the delegation team were Delta North Elder, Chief Emmanuel Eboh; the Head, Senator Nwoko Senatorial Office Asaba, High Chief Eze-Ugo Asibelua and Veteran Journalist, Comrade Norbert Chiazor.

The monarch was eulogized and described him as “the iconic status of the matchless colossus who embraced the most glorious of royalty from a towering academic height”.

Leader of the delegation, Ogbueshi Godfrey Odogwu informed the Royal Father that the delegation came as an advance party ahead of Nwoko’s planned homage to the palace.
