In display of visionary leadership and grassroots commitment to education, Chief Emuoboh Gbagi, son of late Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has fully sponsored the WAEC examination fees of all qualified students from Oginibo community in Delta State.
The gesture has brought joy to some parents who are not financially buoyant.
The initiative covers a total sum of ₦1,863,000, paid on behalf of Oginibo WAEC candidates, ensuring that no eligible student is denied the opportunity to sit for the all-important examination due to financial constraints.
Community leaders and stakeholders during the presentation praised the gesture as timely, impactful, and people-focused, describing it as a clear investment in the future of Oginibo and a powerful example of leadership that prioritizes human capital development.
Benefitting students were urged to reciprocate the rare opportunity with discipline, hard work, and academic excellence, reminding them that the community and its benefactor are counting on them to make Oginibo proud.
