Issele-Uku Development Union hails Emeka Nwaobi for good representation

A delegation of Issele-Uku Development Union, IDU, Asaba branch led by Mr. Parker Okafor visited the Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly Hon. (Engr.) Emeka Nwaobi in his office on Tuesday, extolling his leadership qualities by constantly making sure that his constituents are carried along in the scheme of things.

The Vice-President of the Union, Mr. Alex Moeteke who spoke on behalf of the delegation, congratulated Hon. Nwaobi for successfully winning the last election to serve his people for a third tenure and for his emergence also as the Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly.

He explained that members of the Union admired his doggedness in politics, and advised him to use his good offices to attract more dividends of democracy to his constituency.

The delegation acknowledged the fact that Nwaobi is truly a grassroot politician in touch with his people, ensuring that they are not left out in tasting the dividends of democracy.

They however like Oliver Twist asked him not to relent by attracting more of it.

Moeteke particularly encouraged him to remain steadfast in serving God because his popular name Oji Chukwu bulu uzor (one allows God to lead him) will never stumble or fail.

Responding, Hon Nwaobi who was delighted at the high powered delegation of IDU thanked them for always supporting him. He made it clear that he had always maintained an open door policy and that his new office is for the benefit of the good people of Aniocha North Constituency and promised to do more within his capacity.

The high point of the visit was the presentation of a plaque by the President, Mr. Parker Okafor to Hon. Nwaobi congratulating him for the success at the poll and his emergence as the Majority Leader.

on. (Engr) Nwaobi later went into a closed door meeting with the delegation made of Mr. Parker Okafor, Mr Alex Moeteke, Mr. Chidi Emefieh, Mr. Austin Nwamu, Mr Emma Okonkwo and Nkete Nwakogo aka Nwaezimmadu.
