DELTA State Commissioner for Information, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza said his family has broken the record in the annals of his community, Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha North local government area of the State through the befitting burial accorded his late father.
The Commissioner stated this while speaking at the reception marking the burial of his father, late Senior Apostle Patrick Osuoza.
He said, “this is the first time in the annals of history that a sitting governor, his deputy, former governor of the State including the full compliments of the State Exco attended an event of this nature here in my community”.
Dr Osuoza further said that to be modest his father affected his community positively as well as the Body of Christ.
The burial which was marked with pomp and pageantry was attended by the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, his deputy Sir Monday Onyeme, Immediate past governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Commissioners, former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon Victor Ochei among several dignitaries including members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm who turned out ennasse.
… Cairo Ojougboh buried too
In a related development the funeral service for APC chieftain, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh was held at St. John Baptist Catholic Church, Agbor after which he was interred.
Several dignitaries from within and outside Delta State were in attendance.
