THE Nollywood actor, Dave Ogbeni has called on the general public to completely ignore and disregard the fake prophecy from one unknown charlatan, so-called pastor in Ghana, describing him as a gold digger.
According to the statement signed by his Press Secretary, Miss Athonia Alibor and made available to The Townhall, said that Mr. Ogbeni would not have reacted to the viral video because the “pastor” mentioned Ogbona but because the so- called the “pastor” was out to fraudulently market himself as a prophet flashing Dave’s photograph.
The statement further added that to prove that the man was a charlatan, he could be seen using his phone to look for information about Mr Ogbeni and when he could not get any information, he needed an unseen person from beside him to be giving him information.
“Mr. David Ogbeni”, the statement went on, “is a firm believer in Jesus Christ of Nazareth our great Saviour and holds strong faith to the unfailing word of God that none of God’s children will die young but to live to fulfill their destinies.
“Since the video went viral, Mr David Ogbeni has been receiving calls from people who claim they know the “pastor” and that they can connect both of them only if Mr David Ogbeni is ready to part with some money so that the “pastor” can pray to avert his negative prophecy.
David Ogbeni does not believe in abracadabra”, the statement added.
In conclusion, the Nollywood actor admonished his friends or well-wishers to be circumspect and shouldn’t be gullible inorder to avoid the tricks of the so-called “pastor and his cronies to escape being defrauded.
