I was hypnotized, Abuja Mercedez car thief claims
The young man who fled with a brand new Mercedez Benz car from an Abuja car dealer’s shop recently has been finally arrested.
He was tracked down in Benin City, a day after the stolen car was recovered from a bush in Ughelli, Delta State.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer Bright Edafe, a Deputy Superintendent of Police DSP told The Town Hall that “he was arrested in Benin and investigation is on going”.
The suspect identified as Meshack Sinupro allegedly deceived car dealer by posing as a potential buyer but fled with the Mercedes Benz SUV valued at N55 million during a test drive in Abuja.
He alleged that he was hypnotized to commit the crime.
