Edo based Veteran Journalist, Gabriel Enologhase is dead

A Veteran Journalist, Gabriel Enologhase has passed.

A statement conveying the news of his demise was signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Edo State Council Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Dr. Festus Alenkhe and Andy Egbon respectively on Monday.

According to the statement “the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council with deep sorrow, announces the passing of our colleague and member, Mr Gabriel Enologhase of the Correspondents’ Chapel in a brief illness.

“Until his death on the night of Sunday, June 22, 2025, Mr Enologhase was a dedicated journalist with Vanguard Newspapers known for his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to the ethics of the journalism profession.

“The Council extends heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, friends, colleagues, and the entire media community.

“He will be remembered for his contributions to journalism in Edo State and beyond”, adding that “funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course”.
