MEMBERS of Delta Obidient Elders’ Council and Obidients in Delta State have sent a congratulatory message to Senator Esther Nenadi Usman on her emergence as the Chairman, Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), describing the appointment as well -merited.
The congratulatory message which was signed by the Protem Chairman, Chris O. O. Biose (a.k.a Obidient Daddy) and Protem Secretary, Chief Solomon Akeni reads:
“On behalf of Officers and the entire members of DELTA OBIDIENT ELDERS’ COUNCIL and Obidients in Delta State, we wish to congratulate you most heartily on your well-merited appointment as Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of Labour Party (LP) at the duly convened National Executive Committee/Extended Stakeholders Meeting of the party held at Umuahia, Abia State on September 4, 2024.
“We recognise that your primary assignment of conducting ward, local government and State Congresses as well as National Convention of the Labour Party is of historic significance as the new Labour Party will be responsible for midwifing the New Nigeria of our dream.
“We are confident that your vast experience as former Federal Minister of Finance and Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will stand you in good stead in leading your 29-man team to achieve the set objectives of our Party.
“We wish you resounding success in this assignment and assure you of the full cooperation and assistance of Obidients in Delta State that constitute the bulk of supporters of Labour Party in the State”.
