….. Appoints Amori as Chief Adviser
THE Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Morals and Diaspora Favour Obakoro aka Vida Modelo has been suspended with immediate effect.
Announcing the suspension, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Kingsley Eze Emu in a terse statement in Asaba on Tuesday stated that “the suspension is to enable the security agencies carry out a proper investigation on allegations against her of using her position as a government official to obtain monies fraudulently from different persons”.
In a related development, the State governor, Rt Hon Sherrif Oborevwori has appointed Senator (Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori as Chief Adviser.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, said the appointment is with immediate effect.
Chief Amori regarded as a political colossus held sway during the eight years administration of former Governor James Ibori in the State.
