By Austin Ogwuda

Fresh facts emerging stated that contrary to Police earlier report that nobody was hurt or killed, no fewer than 8 persons are presently hospitalized following various degrees of injuries received as a result of the collapse.

The Town Hall Media gathered from an eye witness, Okei Onyinye that the wounded were workers found inside the building when part of the complex came down after a deafening loud sound during a heavy downpour.

Meantime, the Delta State Commissioner for Urban Renewal, Mr. Michael Anoka shortly after an inspection tour of the site, Friday, told newsmen that although it was too early to run into conclusion but said the probability of building defects cannot be ruled out.

Commissioner Anoka said “the Ministry is still investigating. The government is already taking measures and as you can see, the compound has been sealed. After our investigation, we will come up with a report of what happened here today.

ā€œEverybody should be calm; the government has already started measures before this incident today. We are trying to put up a process that we will be able to avoid such situations”, he stated.
