SUSPECTED Boko Haram terrorists have committed havoc by killing three Christian Youths while travelling in a commercial bus along Damaturu-Biu Federal Highway.

They were unfortunately killed near Kamuya village in the Biu Local Government Area of Borno State, Nigeria after the terrorists flagged down the bus.

According to eye witness the terrorists gang allegedly stopped the said passenger bus travelling on the road at about 9 am on Thursday and whisked four of the passengers identified as Christians into the bush where three were instantly executed. It was not immediately ascertained whether the fourth person escaped.

The witness who spoke to SaharaReporters stated that “At about 9am, they stopped the bus a few kilometers away from Kamuya village and led four passengers into the bush as we watched from afar. We immediately scampered to leave the area.

“It is really sad that they killed three of the abducted, as we later saw on Facebook. May God expose these terrorists and bring an end to their nefarious activities”, said the source who pleaded anonymity.

In a sharp reaction, the Secretary of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Yobe State, the Reverend Ibrahim Abako in confirming the incident in a statement, said, “I want to inform you that we are not happy. Very sad news! On behalf of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Yobe State chapter, we condemn in totality, the killing of three Christian youths along Damaturu-Biu Federal Highway.

“CAN is urging the State government, Military and the Police to take measures to protect the citizens regardless of their religious affiliation”, the CAN boss added.
