Dare-devil armed robbers reportedly trailed a bank customer to a new generation Bank at Ughelli, Delta State, Nigeria on Friday morning and succeeding in snatching huge sums of money the customer was about to deposit.
The Townhall gathered that the suspected armed robbers having discreetly trailed the customer from the point of departure intercepted him at the bank premises located along Isoko Road, Otovwodo, Ughelli before getting into the Bank hall.
The robbers numbering five armed to the teeth, according to an eyewitness, allegedly blocked the customer, shot two private security guards manning the Bank and two other persons in the process after releasing gun shots into the air.

Contacted, the Delta State Police Command’s spokesman Bright Edafe a Superintendent of Police confirmed the story, saying “the customer was double crossed before he could get to the bank”.
