Anioma Delta Baptist Conference elects Rev. Dike Utih, PhD as new Conference President

A new Conference President (CP) for Anioma Delta Baptist Conference, has been elected to take over from the incumbent, His Lordship, Rev. Dr. Paul Friday Anyasi.

He is Rev. Dr. Dike Godspower Utih.

Rev. Dr. Dike Utih, was elected at the 10th Annual Session of the Conference being held at the Unity Baptist Church, Alihame, Agbor, Delta State.

His appointment, which is for a period of five years, 2024 – 2029 was sequel to his recommendation by the Executive Committee of the Conference and approved by the Conference-in-session.

Rev. Dr. Utih, 55, a highly charismatic Baptist Minister with over eleven years unbroken Ministerial Service is the Moderator of the Messiah Baptist Association and the Pastor-in-Charge, Grace Baptist Church Okpanam, Delta State.

Rev. Dike Utih, PhD is married with Children.

Conference President, Anioma Delta Baptist Conference, His Lordship, Rev. Dr. Paul Anyasi has formally presented the newly elected CP to the Conference at its ongoing 10th Annual-Session, as the Conference President-Elect.

Dr. Utih, will formally be consecrated in June this year, at the expiration of the tenure of the incumbent, His Lordship, Rev. Dr. Paul Friday Anyasi, subject to the final ratification of his appointment by the Nigerian Baptist Convention in her 111th Annual-Session in April this year.
