Unconfirmed report by THE WILL which has gone viral is claiming that the kidnapped ex female Commissioner, Joan Onyemaechi Mrakpor has allegedly been killed.
According to the newspaper “they (kidnappers) dumped her body around the Onitsha end of the Niger Bridge, THEWILL can report.
“A source with knowledge of the development who asked not to be identified said her remains were found with heavy bruises, suggesting she was brutalised and tortured before her death.
“She was found dead and fully stripped with severe wounds around 7.30 pm Thursday. I think she was battered to death”, the newspaper was quoted.
However, neither the Police authorities nor the family gave confirmation or any inkling about her whereabouts as to whether the kidnappers have established contacts.
The State Police Command’s spokesman Bright Edafe a Superintendent of Police SP phone number has been switched off while the CP Olufemi Abaniwobda reportedly told a Reporter this morning that the news of the killing was not true.
The confusion is why is the Delta State Police Command, which is the confirming body, keeping quiet including the family members.
And another question is: if the body has been recovered, where is it kept and who recovered same? asks The Townhall
