Sad news: Former Delta Information Commissioner loses wife

FORMER Commissioner for Information in Delta State, Nigeria, Barr. Chike Ogeah has lost his beloved wife.

Mrs. Olufunke Ogeah, aged 62, died as a result of a prolonged illness on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Survived by her 91-year-old mother, Kanyi-sola Sophia Koya, her daughter, two sons, a grandson, brother, and three sisters, Mrs. Ogeah’s departure leaves a void in the lives of those closest to her.

In a statement issued by the former Delta Information Commissioner, Ogeah expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and condolences received from friends and associates during this difficult time.

He also said funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
