Election Petitions Tribunal delivers judgment

By Austin Ogwuda

Most Deltans are spell bound as the Delta State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Asaba commenced the reading of judgement between the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ovie Augustine Omo-Agege and the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Sheriff Oborevwori (the governor).

The Chairman of the tribunal, Justice C. H. Ahuchaogu led other two Justices, Justice E. Enenche and Justice Hadiza L. Musa into the court room less than an hour ago.

The atmosphere is tension-soaked and as there is dead silence as the Tribunal gives the judgment.

Although nobody knows how many hours it will last as they might likely give judgment in that of SDP Candidate Kenneth Gbagi against the PDP candidate Sheriff Oborevwori, too.

Judgment is delivered physically and not via Zoom.
