It is nolonger news that the sword of Damocles is hanging on the President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio over an alleged move to impeach him.
Although the impeachment plot, as usual has been dismissed, The Town Hall Media can authoritatively report that except the dynamics change, the reconvening of the Senate, come September 26, 2023 will be very interesting to observe as the possibility of having a rowdy session might not be ruled out.
The ongoing intrigues, the discord and raging storm especially from the Northern bloc, the Tinubu factor, controversial personality of Akpabio himself, style of leadership, sharing of plum positions in that Red Chambers, The Town Hall Media will be letting the cat out of the bag soon.
Already, another controversial stormy petrel from the North, Senator Ishaku Abbo, remember him?He is fuming seriously and very bitter accusing Akpabio of not only playing ethnic card but allegedly shortchanging the Northern group opposed to his (Akpabio) camp.
