A 46 year old man has reportedly died during alcohol drinking competition.
The sad incident occurred in Sapele, Delta State when he engaged in such drinking competition with a friend, boasting that he was immune to any form of alcoholic intoxication.
The Town Hall Media gathered that as the competition went into full gear he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital by the onlookers but reportedly gave up the ghost.
An eye witness who pleaded for anonymity told our reporter that “before the man was rushed to the hospital he was almost lifeless due to excessive alcohol gulped in a desperate bid to win the contest.
“He had been contesting in such drinking contests in the past and was winning but I think his cup was full this time around”, the witness added.
As at the time of this report his full identity was yet to be ascertained or if any arrest was made.
