The Odogwu (Chief Warrior) of Asaba, Obi Nwanze Oduah has reportedly died during the reception marking the 70th birthday of the Asagba of Asaba, Obi Epiphany Azinge (SAN).

The sad which took incident took place on Thursday has sent shock waves across the length and breadth of the community.
According to eyewitness, “Oduah suddenly collapsed at the reception ground, causing panic among guests and dignitaries present at the event.
“He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but unfortunately confirmed dead by doctors shortly after his arrival”, said the witness.
Meantime details of the death are still shetchy as at the time of this report.
