The Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Delta State. Mr Ekemejero Ohwovoriole SAN has described the elevation of Mr Omamuzo Erebe to the status of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) as a good omen to Deltans.
Ekemejero stated this while who fielding questions from newsmen at a reception ceremony organized at the instance of the Erebe family in Abuja in celebration of his (Omamuzo Erebe) elevation to the enviable position was through dint of hard work, perseverance, courage and determination.
He explained that there is no one who is performing creditably through hard work, perseverance and good works like Erebe who will not be rewarded.
The Attorney-General stated that Erebe who has worked with nine Attorneys-General started the journey to the exalted rank from the mentorship of Professor Amos Utuama SAN of blessed memory who was at one time the Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice in the Ministry.
Ekemejero said, “If you are bent doing good works, the way it ought to be, be rest assured that you would be rewarded one day”.
The elated Attorney-General stated he was happy with the elevation of Mr Erebe during his tenure elevated to the position of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria during his tenure as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
He enjoined staff in the Ministry to be up to their responsibilities by working hard and he assured them that the Ministry will not relax on its oars in the areas of regular capacity building and trainings of it workers.
The Udurhie 1, Monarch of Idjerhe Kingdom, HRM Monday Whiskey, who was also a special guest at the event extolled the sterling qualities of Mr Erebe.
He stated that Erebe whose Mother hails from his Kingdom is their highly dependable son who is highly respected by all.
Former Attorney-Generals, Delta State Head of Service, Civil Commissioners House of Assembly members who were present at the event equally said good things about Erebe who became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria at the Supreme court amongst other Nigerians.
Honourable Eriyotomi House of Representative Delta South Senatorial District, predicted that Erebe will get to greater heights in his professional pursuits.
The event was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life.
