A Landlady has been arrested at Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South local government area of Delta State, Nigeria in connection with the abduction of four children within the neighbourhood who were allegedly lured into the apartment of her new tenants.
Reports said that the incident occurred at the Umuokwe quarters, Ogwashi-Uku at the weekend with accusing fingers pointed at three women who recently secured accommodation in the area
It was alleged that the women lured the children from their different homes with a bait of giving them biscuits.
The abducted four children came from two different families.
Confirming the incident, the Delta State Police Command’s Spokesman Bright Edafe said, “Yes, the landlady has been arrested because her actions are suspicious.
“It is true. The problem is that there is no link. They (suspects) just came and said they wanted to rent an apartment, and the landlady gave it to them with no details—no name, no phone number, no agreement and after three days, they carried four children.
