In another development, there was a drama on Saturday last week following the last minute cancellation of a wedding between Jos-based writer, Paul Kums and bride-to-be, Patience Addra.
Reports said that the wedding ceremony was planned on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Jos but was abruptly called off on Friday.
It was gathered that both of them have been in courtship for over three years but the wedding had to be called off by the groom’s mother when she discovered that the bride who is a staunch Catholic was not ready to abandon the Catholic church for any other church.
The groom attends Church of Christ in Nations.
“The groom said his mother made it clear that if the bride would not follow him to his church, the wedding is off”, the report stated.
