THE Okpanam Unit of the Anti-Cult Volunteer Corp has tendered public apology to the family of late Miss Isioma Nwayalani who was accidentally felled by stray bullet on Saturday, describing the entire incident as the handiwork of Devil.

The emotional apology was reportedly endorsed by the Head Admin, Okpanam Anti-cult Unit.
It reads:
“ANTI-CULT VOLUNTEER CORP
Okpanam Unit
Dear Fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and the entire Nwayalani family
First, I want to on behalf of ANTI-CULT VOLUNTEER CORP, OKPANAM UNIT and members tender my apology to the entire Okpanam indigenes, inhabitants and the entire Nwayalani family over the death of our daughter and sister Isioma Nwayalani.
We’re deeply saddened by this unfortunate incident and wish to state that we are not known for being unruly, we are people who believe in the rule of law.
The deceased is a friend of the Anticult Okpanam unit and have shared very cordial relationship with the Unit.
The officer involved has since been detained to face the law but this alone is not commensurate with the life lost. Again, we are deeply sorry for this event.
Our duty as security operatives is to protect lives and properties and not to do otherwise.
The demise of Isioma Nwayalani can only be described as unfortunate and ochestrated by the devil.
We are sorry and pray such will never repeat itself.
Please accept our sincere apologies
Signed by
Head Admin
Okpanam Anti-cult unit”.
