A prominent political leader, popularly known as a Political Strategist, Ogbueshi (Engr) Ndozi Onyia has passed.
The Townhall gathered that Ndozi Onyia, regarded as a ‘Generalisimo’ who was a strong backbone behind the winning streaks of the ruling People’s Democratic Party PDP particularly in Oshimili South local government area of Delta State since inception passed on Thursday last week.
Already, PDP political leaders are in deep mourning.
Most of these leaders have been thronging the residence of his younger brother, Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia on condolence visit.
The Chairman, Oshimili South chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogbueshi Chike Ifesiokwu was one of the early callers accompanied by the Local Government Area Ward Chairmen of the party, among others to Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia residence in Asaba.
Ogbueshi Ifesiokwu recalled how dedicated the late PDP stalwart was ensuring that the party emerged victorious during his active days in politics, describing him as a motivator and inspirational leader.
Among the long list of PDP leaders who had paid condolence visit so far were High Chief Edwin Uzor; Hon. Bridget Anyafulu, Ogbueshi Chibuzor Uwaje, Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, Ogbueshi Taju Isichei, Ogbueshi Smart Meka, Honourable Olisa Onyeka , Honourable Izuka Okolo, Honourable Eloka Aziekwu and Sir Tobechukwu Okonkwo.
Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia expressed appreciation for the visits and assured them that they would be duly informed regarding the burial arrangements.
