THE Traditional Ruler of Aboh kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Obi (Dr.) Gregory Oputa III has dissolved all existing Committees constituted at various levels in the kingdom in line with his avowed determination to reposition the kingdom.
The dissolution, being his maiden Royal Proclamation was contained in a press statement by the Palace Secretary, Chief Amaechi Chime.

The Statement listed the dissolved Committees as: the Aboh Community Development Committee ( CDC); Aboh Youths Council; Aboh Development Union; the Aboh Oil and Gas Committee as well as all other Committees known or unknown existing under whatever name or guise.
The Proclamation also outlawed the use of epithets, derogatory and all forms of dehumanizing language, words, phrases , insinuations, innuendos and utterances to mock, disparage, denigrate or belittle any person from Aboh kingdom on account of their ancestral or historical background.
The statement cautioned that henceforth, “the use of unwarranted and unguarded utterances to demean or mock any indigene of Aboh would no longer be tolerated as all citizens of the kingdom were equal before God”.

The Proclamation made it abundantly clear that all kingdoms had ruling houses like Aboh, which according to the statement, has four ruling houses.

The statement sternly warned that any violation of the order would attract severe sanctions by way of heavy fine while re-assuring the people of the irrevocable commitment of the monarch to peaceful co-existence and harmony within the kingdom adding that peace remains a sine-qua- non to the socio – economic transformation of any society.
